DOUGLAS MCCOY | STYLIST

I specialize in lived-in razor cuts as well as precision scissor cutting, with a focus on shapes that move naturally and hold up long after you leave the chair. I also work in classic barbering when a look calls for it. My signature is combining technical precision with styling and finishing that's built to be recreated at home, not just admired in the chair.

With over 30 years in the industry, I've spent much of my career as a global educator for major beauty brands, training stylists around the world and helping shape their education programs and look-books. I have also spent years working with teams back stage at NY Fashion Week for some of the top designers of the day. That experience has sharpened my eye for detail and kept me constantly refining my technique alongside the stylists I've trained.

My approach is simple: a great cut is only half the job. The other half is making sure you walk out knowing exactly how to style it yourself. I believe the best results come from a real conversation with each client, understanding what they want and what actually fits their life. What I love most is seeing someone leave feeling confident they can do it themselves.

Outside of the salon you’ll find me riding my motorcycle (I have a Harley), doing photography, film making or listening to music with my cats (I have a pretty decent vinyl collection). I also love having coffee talk with the chickens in the mornings.
