YOKO TSUTSUMI | STYLIST & COLORIST

My influences stem from the three cities I lived in - Tokyo, Detroit, and Portland. After earning a Fine Arts degree in the fashion epicenter of Tokyo, I moved to culturally diverse Detroit and eventually began my hair career. In 2011, I MOVED TO Portland.

With 15+ years in the industry and training from Aveda and Vidal Sassoon, I specialize in both cut and color. I’m experienced in precision and textured cuts for any gender, as well as long-lasting lived-in and dimensional colors. My job is to design a style that accentuates an individual’s inner and outer beauty. My hair service always includes a complImentary consultation. I believe that a hairstyle is a collaboration between a client and a hairstylist. What I love most is helping clients look and feel fabulous. It is truly a reward to see them walk out the door with a smile and confidence.

P.S. Outside the salon, I enjoy music, art, architecture/landscape, gardening, surfing, and sharing time with friends.
